Why now

The person who understood the old workflow supervises the new one.

AI is absorbing the assembly work of regulated professions: research, drafting, screening, monitoring. The judgment doesn't disappear; it moves to the gate. Evidentia makes that oversight structural, recorded, and provable.

Displacement arrives at software speed. Oversight infrastructure hasn't.

Cognitive AI deploys through software updates and API calls, and it is already producing consequential outputs inside regulated workflows. What has not arrived is the infrastructure that converts the experts whose assembly work AI absorbs into structured, paid, provable oversight of the very systems replacing that work.

That is the gap Evidentia fills. Human decision gates pause execution, durably, for days if needed, until a named person's decision is recorded with approver, timestamp, and what changed. Structured visibility makes the oversight inspectable rather than ad hoc. And every deliverable can be tamper-evident sealed and later checked against alteration.

The result reads two ways at once: for the buyer, it is governance that answers the examiner. For the workforce, the gates are the bridge roles, and the receipts prove the human's contribution. You cannot fund what you cannot measure; the decision record is the measurement layer.

The three moves

  • Displaced expertise staffs the gates. The reviewer who knew the old process becomes the approver, red-teamer, and quality gate of the governed AI execution.
  • Domain knowledge becomes an authored asset. Workflow decomposition turns incumbent expertise into versioned, attributed methodologies the expert supervises.
  • Receipts are the attribution layer. Sealed, tamper-evident records of gate decisions are the primitives any productivity-share or transition-funding mechanism needs underneath.

01Legal

The citation that doesn't exist is already a sanction.

Courts are sanctioning lawyers for AI-fabricated citations now, not in some future enforcement wave. Every AI-assisted research memo, brief, or filing that cannot show its trail is accumulating liability this quarter.

Gate-supervised legal research puts a named reviewer between the model and the filing: sources verified for existence before they can support a claim, a human decision recorded at the gates that matter, and a walkable trail from conclusion back to raw sources.

Demonstrated claim verification

In a completed verification run, the platform caught a real trial's non-significant primary endpoint presented as significant, and a citation to a source that did not exist, with a sealed, verifiable receipt and a walkable decision trail showing why.

The run was on clinical material; the pattern (claim-by-claim verification against sources, with a human gate and a sealed record) is exactly what a citation-checking or filing-review workflow needs.

Proof artifact: sealed receipt · replayable trail

What the trail gives compliance

  • A per-run audit trail: what ran, who decided, and what failed
  • Consequential steps cannot silently auto-approve in production. Oversight is structural, not a policy toggle
  • Fully on-premises deployment. Sensitive data can route to local models and never leave your environment
  • Built to align with EU AI Act Article 14 and NIST AI RMF. Alignment, not certification

02Financial services

Evidence-based governance is becoming the exam.

Regulators are shifting from policy attestations to evidence: show what the AI did, who reviewed it, and how the conclusion was reached. A governance binder disconnected from the systems doing the work cannot answer that. An execution layer that records the trail as the work happens can.

The compliance officers and analysts whose review work AI is absorbing are the natural staff for the gates. Their judgment is recorded once, permanently, with context, instead of reconstructed for the auditor after the fact.

03Insurance

Regulatory monitoring, governed end to end.

Multi-jurisdiction insurers carry a monitoring obligation that never sleeps: new bulletins, changed capital requirements, evolving exam frameworks. AI can watch the horizon at machine speed, but only a governed execution turns that watching into findings a compliance officer can stand behind.

Every monitored change flows through evidence collection, analysis, and a human decision gate before it becomes a compliance position, with the officer's recorded decision, and the source trail, preserved for the exam. NAIC-framework AI examinations are arriving; the answer is the trace.

The pattern in production terms

  • Jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction evidence collection with every source preserved and traceable to origin
  • Impact analysis linked claim-by-claim to the regulatory text behind it
  • A compliance officer's gate decision recorded before any position is adopted
  • A sealed, replayable record the examiner can walk months later

What is built, what is roadmap, what we don't claim

The transition case is strongest when it is honest. Here is the ledger.

Built today

  • Human decision gates that cannot be skipped or silently waived in production
  • The contemporaneous decision record
  • Source-to-conclusion evidence chains
  • Tamper-evident sealing and end-to-end replay
  • Fully on-premises deployment

Roadmap

  • Matching domain experts to methodology-authoring and gate-oversight roles
  • Funding-flow integrations that settle against the attribution layer

Not claimed

  • No accuracy benchmarks published. We prove the trail, not model correctness
  • No end-to-end proven paying client yet. Pipeline is in negotiation, not signed
  • No reskilling product, no robotics product
  • Alignment with EU AI Act Art. 14 / NIST AI RMF, not certification
